The panel discussion will invite 3 speakers (from ‘Limitless’, ‘Happiness Initiative’, a therapist from University Counselling Centre) to give a talk about “How to say goodbye to your comfort zone”. Participants could learn more about yourself and some useful tips! Participants can ask their own questions anonymously. This program aims encourage an open conversation about self comfort zone and related issues, as well as its impact on our mental health

Our Panelists

Asher Low from Limitless

Limitless was founded to help youths find hope, worth and destiny. Their goal is to end powerlessness caused by poverty, mental illness, and social inequality. They offer talks and workshops on these topics. The speaker Asher Low has always believed that each and every youth, no matter the school, stream, background, or current circumstance has a call to succeed and live a purpose driven life. Asher has had training and experience in the fields of Social Work, Business Management, Human Resource Management, Law Enforcement, and has extensive experience as a Learning & Development Consultant in the Education sector.

Sherman Ho from the Happiness Initiative

The Happiness Initiative is a social enterprise that translates the science of happiness and well-being into actions people can take. They offer talks and workshops to schools and the corporate sector. Speaker and Co-founder Sherman Ho started out as a commodities trader, spending a lot of time in Africa. The experience drastically changed his perspective of life which eventually led him to co-found Happiness Initiative. He is passionate about building inclusive communities and understand how we can make the world a kinder and more empathetic place.

Lee Wan Hui Caitlyn from the University Counselling Centre (NTU)

UWO provides professional and holistic services to meet the wellbeing needs of NTU students and employees so as to enhance their personal growth and development through the provision of professional counselling through the University Counselling Centre (UCC), case management support, critical incident management and policies and partnerships that support student wellbeing. 
 

Caitlyn is currently a counsellor at the University Counselling Centre (UCC). She did her undergraduate studies at NTU and then her postgraduate studies in NIE and now she works in NTU; it would seem that NTU cannot “get rid” of her! She is always keen to share with others about what has been personally useful in her own life, and is also equally keen to hear about what has been helpful for others in their lives.
